The scientific programme for COMPSTAT 2004 will be made up as follows:
       DEFINITIVE ORAL PROGRAMME
       DEFINITIVE POSTER PROGRAMME
-
Keynote Lectures. These will be given by leading experts in the field to attract a wide audience and give a presentation that is at a number of levels, comprising review material accessible to all and perhaps more specialised material to promote discussion with other workers in the field.
-
Invited Organised Sessions. A number of people were invited to organise themed sessions, reflecting topics of major interest for statistical computing and novel developing areas. These sessions are organised in conjunction with other IASC sections, or indeed, other interested groups.
-
Contributed Sessions. Participants are encouraged to present contributed talks, or to submit posters. These may relate to invited paper sessions, but do not need to do so. These will be a mix of ordinary contributed papers.
-
Poster Sessions. These will be made up of contributed papers where the author has indicated that he/she wishes to present the material as a poster.
-
Tutorials. This will be an extensive introduction to an important topic.
